It's our 4th (?!) annual Best of the Rest Awards! Every year, Ben, Joe and Jamison take some time to give some time to the games of yesteryear that may not have had their moment to shine, so what better time to go over that, than halfway through February! We've compiled seven categories to award games for their feats in Cooperative play, Boss Fights, Introductory Hour, and more! We've all played the Outer Wilds expansion Echoes of the Eye and get into (albeit light) spoiler territory from 10:00 to 38:00. Then, Ben has played a great many games from Into the Pit, Metroid Dread, and not one, but TWO(!!) JRPGs (Scarlet Nexus and Tales of Arise), we've all played varying amounts of Inscryption, and Jamison is snacking on smaller games like Artful Escape and Sable. To wrap up we chat at length about Battlefield 2042 and... you guessed it, Halo Infinite! Again!

We talk about Halo Infinite again and recap the Playstation showcase. Then we get into some stuff we've played; Pyschonauts 2, Tales of Aries' demo, Joe somewhat deciphered what Terraria is, and then... well... we spend the last 50 minutes of the show talking about 12 Minutes and how no one should ever play it. Content warning for discussions about a game that contains home invasions, domestic abuse, and incest. I'm warning you now because 12 Minutes sure didn't. DO NOT PLAY IT!!

Then we've got thoughts on the Not-E3 happenings so far, including the Horizon State of Play and Battlefield 2042 reveal, yelling about people yelling about cross gen games, and hopes for the upcoming shows of "E3".
